Identifier types

By default, the filescanner reports every instance of all identifier types and impact classifications, severities, and types. When the identifier type appears on an output report, it indicates that the file scanner recognized the identifier it found as a command argument, a command option, or an environment variable.

The identifier types are:

» » FC/C++ Functions or #define macros with arguments
» » HC/C++ Header Files
» » IC/C++ Miscellaneous Identifiers (global variables, type names, enum members, or #define macros)
» » KC/C++ Keywords, Operators, or Preprocessor Directives
» » MC/C++ Structure, Class, or Union Members
» » SC/C++ Structures, Classes, Unions, or enum Tags
» » CCommands and Utilities
» » ACommand Arguments, Options, Environment Variables
» » CcCOBOL Callable Routines
» » CfCOBOL Intrinsic Functions
» » CkCOBOL Keywords
» » FfFortran Intrinsic Functions
» » FiFortran Identifiers or Specifiers
» » FkFortran Keywords or Operators
» » FsFortran Intrinsic Subroutines
» » PPath Names
» » LProgramming Libraries
