Problem description

Some acctmerg command functionality is supported on Tru64 UNIX but differs on HP-UX.

The acctmerg command merges total-accounting files into an intermediary file or a daily accounting file.

The following options exist on both systems, but the Tru64 UNIX behavior is not supported on HP-UX:

• -aipv - These options take an optional specification argument, which is a comma-separated list of field numbers or range to display the column entries. HP-UX does not support this argument.

The following command option is supported on Tru64 UNIX, but is not available on HP-UX:

• -h - This option lists column headings. This flag implies -a but is effective with the -p or -v flags.
