F90 Impacts

Problem description

The following functions exist on Tru64 UNIX but not on HP-UX:

  • COTAN

  • DCOTAN

  • QCOTAN

  • COTAND

  • DCOTAND

  • COTAN(X) - Produces the cotangent of X. X must be of type real; it cannot be zero. It must also be in radians, and is treated as modulo 2*pi. The result type is the same as X.

    Specific Name Argument Type Result Type
    =============  =============  ===========
    COTAN          REAL(4)        REAL(4)
    DCOTAN         REAL(8)        REAL(8)
    QCOTAN         REAL(16)       REAL(16)

  • COTAND(X) - Produces the cotangent of X. X must be of type real. It must be in degrees, and is treated as modulo 360. The result type is the same as X.

    Specific Name Argument Type Result Type
    =============  =============  ===========
    COTAND         REAL(4)        REAL(4)
    DCOTAND        REAL(8)        REAL(8)
    QCOTAND        REAL(16)       REAL(16)
