C compiler -c99 command option - not available (CrUn330)

Problem description

The C compiler -c99 command option is supported on Tru64 UNIX but not on HP-UX.

The -c99 option selects the strict ANSI C99 language mode. This option strictly enforces the ANSI C99 standard and all its prohibitions.

Solution description

The -c99 option is not supported on HP-UX. However, the HP-UX C Compiler version A.06.00 and later provides this support with the -AC99 option.

On HP-UX, the -AC99 command provides support for C99.
