| New 5.1 Release HP Caliper is a general-purpose performance analysis tool for applications, processes, and systems. It allows you to understand the performance and execution of an application and to identify ways to improve its run-time performance. HP Caliper runs on HP Integrity servers on: HP Caliper works with any native Integrity server-based application. It does not require special compilation of the program being analyzed and does not require any special link options or libraries. HP Caliper supports programs compiled with any compiler option. HP Caliper can measure activity across the entire system, with measurements attributed to individual processes where possible. HP Caliper has both a command-line interface and a GUI, which you can use interchangeably. The functionality and operation are identical. HP Caliper is free for HP-UX users and is free for noncommercial use for Linux users. There is a charge for commercial use for HP Caliper for Linux.
