Features of HP MLIB include:
- Robust, callable subprograms including all Basic Linear Algebraic Subprograms (BLAS) 1, 2, and 3 subroutines; sparse BLAS subroutines; a collection of commonly used dense and sparse linear system solvers including LAPACK, ScaLAPACK, and SuperLU_DIST; full METIS functionality; Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs); and convolutions.
- Available for HP-UX systems ranging from single-processor servers to multiprocessor high-end servers such as the Superdome.
- Optimized for HP PA-RISC 2.0, Intel® Itanium® 2.
- Contains six components: VECLIB, LAPACK, ScaLAPACK, SOLVERS, VMATH and SuperLU_DIST.
