HP Caliper Version 5.7 is the latest release for HP-UX. For Linux, HP Caliper 5.2 continues to be the latest release.

New Options and Enhancements in 5.7

The HP Caliper 5.7 release has the following improvements:
  • Improved accuracy in some of the CPU metrics measurement for Intel(R) 9500 processors.
  • Quality improvements and defect fixes.

New Options and Enhancements in 5.6

The HP Caliper 5.6 release has the following improvements:
  • Addition of dispersal metrics for Intel(R) Itanium(R) 9500 processors.
  • Quality improvements and bug fixes.

HP Caliper 5.2 release (March 2010) continues to be the latest version for Itanium Linux. HP Caliper 5.2 provides better performance analysis for enterprise and multi-tier applications on Itanium Linux.

HP Caliper on HP-UX

HP-UX 11i v3 is required.

HP Caliper on Linux

  • HP Caliper is supported on RedHat4, Debian 3.0, and SuSE Enterprise Linux 9.
  • For noncommercial use, HP Caliper on Linux is free.
  • For commercial use: pricing for HP Caliper on Linux is $500 per license. As an introductory offer, we are offering this license, for a limited time only, for $250.
