The HP Point of Sale ISV Partner Program is designed to help point of sale (POS) software providers, targeting small to mid-sized business (SMB) retail merchants, gain worldwide exposure to HP’s broad network of retail customers, sales channel and engineering expertise. This program, available in North America only, allows ISVs to purchase testing/demo equipment at a discounted rate and verify their solution on HP hardware ensuring their retail software applications operate properly on HP POS systems and peripherals. Verified software partners will then be marked with the HP Point-of-Sale Solution Ready insignia, making it easy for SMB retailers to identify solutions that have been vendor-tested for compatibility and smooth integration.
Qualifying partners can take advantage of co-marketing activities and sales support from HP as well as technical support to help retailers seamlessly integrate their new POS solutions into existing technology platforms. Combining ISV POS software with HP POS hardware is a winning combination that will offer merchants a best-in-class POS solution and allow them to provide what matters most-customer service.
