There are no fees associated with membership in this program, though select benefits do incur costs to be borne by members.

Membership in the Solution Builder community is open to all independent hardware vendors (IHV), independent software vendors (ISV), system integrators (SI), and value-add HP channel partners (with a large percentage of system integration services) and are committed to growing their business on the HP BladeSystem. You must first be an active DSPP member, so if you are not yet a member, simply complete the DSPP membership application at the company member level. Current DSPP members can apply for the HP BladeSystem Solution Builder Community by clicking on the Apply for Membership link above and logging in with your DSPP username and password. As a measure of the prospective member’s commitment to success on HP BladeSystem, the applicant’s product or service must meet the following criteria appropriate to your business: - IHV – a generally available, commercial hardware product that provides network, storage, power, cooling, or other functional connectivity, provisioning, or management of the HP BladeSystem server or enclosure to an infrastructure, network, or external device.
- ISV – a generally available, commercial software product that installs and operates on the HP BladeSystem server using one of the currently supported operating systems
- SI – a generally available, commercial integration service that entails the definition, delivery, and deployment of diverse hardware, software, and networking components in a multi-vendor environment of which the HP BladeSystem is part.
- Channel Partner – a generally available, commercial distribution, aggregation, or sales operation of which the HP BladeSystem is part and that entails a significant portion of overall revenues derived from system integration services as described above. Eligibility for Solution Builder membership will be determined by the percentage of overall company revenue generated by system integration services. This percentage must be indicated on the membership application.
